The network connection with the Frey AP600 / Tomey AP-3500/4000 / Rodenstock Peristat2/Perimat2

The data transmission between the perimeter and the receiver-PC uses the local network by cable (LAN) or wireless (WLAN). The connection to the network is usually setup by a network administrator or a well-informed person.

Information about the network setup is given in the perimeter manual. This is a short summary only for the LAN setup:

1. Share the exchange folder on the PC

PeriData is already installed on the PC
share the predefined exchange folder "C:\PeriDataExchange" (Everyone - Full Control)

2. LAN connection on the Frey perimeter (Networking Settings)

connect the perimeter with a cable to the LAN
perimeter menu: choose Settings > Networking > Networking Settings
enable LAN DHCP >> all parameters are set by the LAN router

3. Definition of the export target on the Frey perimeter (Network Drive Configuration)

perimeter menu: choose Settings->Networking->Network Drive Configuration >> Displays a list of available network drives and their connection statuses
select New
URL: enter the path to the shared folder of the target PC (example: 192.168.123.55\PeriDataExchange)
Username / Password: enter the access code of the target PC

select the network drive in the list >> options are available
Export: on
select DICOM
Patient named folder: OFF
ID in folder name: OFF
>> the export target will be <network drive>\opv (on the PC shown as C:\PeridataExchange\opv)
