This image shows the threshold values in a grayscale graph. Between measured points the values are interpolated to create a continuous surface. Shade is sensitivity: light areas represent high sensitivity, dark areas mean low sensitivity.
Threshold values are untreated RAW DATA and not norm-related. Therefore even a normal visual field is darker in the periphery, nasal darker than temporal, darker for aged persons than for young persons. The images vary also for different strategies, stimulus sizes and other parameters and different instruments. -- Click here for more information about this value type, the meaning and limitations
