The Left-Right Window

Button in the Series Window
Keys: SHIFT + ENTER (only active in the Series Window)
Menu: View > Left-Right

This window shows a pair of visual fields (Left and Right - OS/OD). As it is common in perimetry, the fields are shown from the patient's point of view: The left visual field is on the left, the right visual field is on the right.   ESC closes the window.

Selection of the 2 examinations

The red frame in the Series Window determines the first visual field. The second visual field of the other eye is automatically matched. If there is no examination on the same day, the next following examination is taken, otherwise the next earlier. These examinations should be unpaired. If there are complete pairs before and after a single selected examination, the first examination it will shown alone in the Left-Right Window.

Image types

The Image type can be changed in the Image menu. It is easier with buttons. Click on a button for more information. It is quicker with hotkeys (character below the button)

Help for image types ("Image Help")

CLICK onto a single image in the window to get special information about this image type. Image help can also be started with the context menu (RIGHT mouse button).

Other properties and functions

[F1]  shows Help about the current window

[CTRL + P]  start a printout

Save the current Image Type as favorite option

[CTRL and + ]  zoom in by steps of 5 degree

[CTRL and - ]  zoom out by steps of 5 degree

[Q]  switch between graphical Quality Indicator (pressed=grey) or the Quality values (unpressed)

Switch on and off the Symbol representation for the normal range and absolute defectc

Switch on and off the color distinction (two normal colors) for the normal range
