Threshold values or Raw data (numerals)

This image shows the Threshold values as number. The values are in the range of 0 dB through 45 dB, dependant on the instrument. High values are high sensitivity, low values mean low sensitivity.

(33)   value in brackets is the second value at this point (only in case of double measurement)

Threshold values are untreated RAW DATA and not norm-related. Therefore the validity is limited.   -- Click here for more information about this value type, the meaning and limitations


CONCLUSION: This image type makes double measurements and absolute defects visible. In case of missing normal values (rare special examinations) these numbers are the basis for evaluation.   -- If normal values are present, there is better information from total deviation numbers and other representations on the basis of defect depth (color defect map, cumulative curve, probability map..)
