Visual Field Window Types

When PeriData is started out of a medical record software ("LinkMode"), you will see the visual field windows immediately. With standard mode, you have to select a patient in the database

PeriData offers 4 window types for the display of visual fields:

• Series window (left side, always open)
• Single window (on the right)
• Left-Right window (on the right)
• Trend window (on the right)

The Series window on the left side is always open. It shows all visual fields of the patient. A movable red frame selects the reference field for the window on the right side.

You can switch between the 3 window types on the right side, but only 1 window is open and active at a time. There are 3 switch buttons in the main tool bar:

Single window activated

Initially the Single window is activated. It shows on single visual field in various representations (image types) that can be switched in the toolbar of the window. A move of the red frame in the Series window changes the selected visual field.   more information about the Single window

Left-Right window activated

The Left-Right window shows a left and a right visual field in various representations (image types) that can be switched in the toolbar of the window. A move of the red frame in the Series window changes the selected visual fields.   more information about the Left-Right window

Trend window activated

The Trend window shows a series of visual fields in various representations (image types) that can be switched in the toolbar of the window. Unreliable examinations can be excluded from the display and calculation (yellow cross).   more information about the Trend window
