Ctrl + N Menu: File > New
This command creates a new PeriData Database. The database file has the preliminary name NONAME... The database is ready to receive data from a perimeter or import data from other PeriData databases with copy and paste.
When closing the database window, you will be asked for a proper name for your database and the folder where it should be stored. This definition can be performed earlier using the command Save As
When saving, the file extension PHF is appended, which marks all PeriData Databases. Note: Beneath "Test.PHF" you will find another file "Test.PHD" in the same folder. It serves for quick sorting and is created automatically.
